Sometimes I get to wondering at the future. Today I wonder when they look back at the art in our time... You know, the real contemporary art, not the Art-school fed Contemporary Art Scene, but just the Art and Artists of this moment... What influences the internet had on art.

We are all so thrown in together on these intertubes, a supported Saatchi Art School Machine and the Outsiders, the amateurs, primitives, hotel-landscape painters, Anime lovers... All thrown together in this insane mass all jostling to promote themselves to something more.

I wonder what they will think, non-art-trained folk judging and heavily influencing art in ways that collectors and wanna-bes always have. I wonder how it changes the conception of Art, how these influences will play out when future art-lovers look back.
